About The Artist
Marjorie Taylor is a professional artist known for her lively paintings of birds, pollinators, and whimsical, anthropomorphic animals, creatively executed with acrylic and oils. Taylor creates her work at her home studio and The Millworks, a brewery and restaurant with 20 Artist studios and galleries, which is located in a historic building in midtown Harrisburg. She sells her work from her studio, the gallery, and two exhibitions a year, in addition to creating beer label art for the brewery.

Marjorie attended UCSD, majoring in fine art. She has dabbled in jewelry, pottery, and mosaics. Painting came later in her art career, when she created murals and faux finishing for her Decorative Art Studio, designing for residential and commercial clients. Her work has consistently demonstrated a passion for nature, as evidenced by her collection of botanical and natural history books, which has led her to become a member of the Audubon Society, furthering her knowledge of birds.

Marjorie creates her artwork in her home studio located in Mechanicsburg, along the Yellow Breeches Creek.
Her international travels, long walks, and visits to museums continually inspire her creative process. She lives with her husband, two rescue dogs, and enjoys the vicarious adventures of her three daughters.
