The Happy Hour series began with my first commission for Millworks Brewery, where I had an art studio for three years. The beer that needed a label was called Fellowship. My concept for that design features two male moths, identifiable by their feathery antennas, which they use to locate females. In the illustration, the two moths enjoy a pint while using their lantern to attract the female moths. From that design, the Happy Hour series evolved into a series of anthropomorphic animal friends enjoying fellowship, a good laugh, while sipping their favorite beverages in their natural habitat.
